Weekend Counseling for Gay Men – Sat/Sun Appointments
I’m in my office Monday-Friday. If you only want to see me, remember that employers in California are legally required to give you time off work to receive medically necessary psychotherapy (under the auspices of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Family Medical Leave Act). But taking time off work on a weekday on a weekly basis sometimes just isn’t feasible due to commuting to and from my office in LA’s notorious traffic, or because of your particular job demands. So if your schedule at work prevents you from coming to therapy during the week, I work with a very qualified associate who offers appointments in my office on Saturdays and Sundays.
He is Joey Sarcoz, MA, MFT Registered Intern, at 310-845-4517. (See Joey’s website at http://www.WeekendGayTherapyLA.com).
Although Joey is not yet licensed, he is an employee of my practice and works under my clinical supervision, according to the requirements of California Board of Behavioral Sciences. He utilizes many of my techniques in addition to his own “style”, and is a competent therapist in his own right. He graduated from California Graduate Institute. If therapy appointments on a Saturday or Sunday interest you, please call Joey directly for information on fees and available appointment times.
Two other associates, Michael Kaltenbach, LCSW, and Geoff Milam, LCSW, are very talented therapists with much expertise in both gay men’s and HIV issues, who also offer weekend apppointments. Michael is at 323-646-1139 and Geoff is at 917-754-2816.
